I’m a creative writer-turned journalist with a passion and talent for content strategy, effective communication and storytelling.
As a journalist, I understand the value of and need for clear, direct communication rooted only in truth.
But, also as a journalist, I’ve come to understand the desire for sincere human connection in that communication. Whether that’s between a journalist and a reader, influencer and scroller, or business and client.
As a solutions-minded person, I love applying that to my work. I aim to find the most appropriate and modern way to reach an audience; to share important information and tell stories in formats that are undeniably authentic. I love exploring different visual and written mediums to convey messages that feel fresh and relevant (and fun, when possible).
When I’m not working, which is rare, you may also catch me painting, thrifting, singing karaoke, or exploring Charlotte’s food scene.
